Puff Puff Puffins!

I think for the first few posts we will look back on our past few years and just mention some of our highlights, and what better way to start than with the cutest bird on earth- puffins!

In June this year we went to the Isle of Mull and decided to make the most of our time by going on a boat tour with Turus Mara.

At 11.30 in the morning we rocked up the the ferry port for Mull to Ulva crossings - probably the smallest ferry port in the world as, although the water current could probably rush you away in an instant, it is a mere 200m of sea to Ulva.

Anyway, we hopped onto the little boat and off we sailed up the sounds between the two isles' coasts. The sun was shining and I was already in heaven - the smell of the sea soothes me! However, what I was yet to discover was that we were well on our way to experience 'Puffin Therapy' for three hours.

We were dropped off on Lunga and within seconds were surrounded by the gorgeous little critters. It was phenomenal, cheeky little blighters were running around at our feet and I believe three of them were posing for Lewis and started a modelling competition.

It was an absolutely spectacular weekend with the petite dive bombing dare devils!
